The hotel's decoration was simply charming, with beautiful furniture and delicate floral patterns that reminded me of my younger days. The general areas were clean and well-maintained, making it easy for me to navigate with my walking stick. The hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent, with handrails along the corridors and gentle slopes instead of stairs.
I would have loved to have a designated sitting area where I could relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. It would have been nice if the children working there had provided some tea bags or coffee sachets in the room, as it was a bit frustrating not to have such basic amenities readily available.

We had a fantastic stay at a warm and homely cottage in a peaceful location. The hosts were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The property was well-equipped with everything we could imagine, including picnic blankets, torches, and walking sticks. The local pubs were also excellent value for money. we had a great time and would definitely recommend this place.
One small issue was that the kitchen lacked a freezer compartment, so we had to eat all our ice cream at once. Additionally, we thought there were two single beds in one of the rooms based on the pictures, but there was only one.

The Pencerrig Collection At Pencerrig Isaf Villa was worth every penny with its stunning views, comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms, and lovely Christmas decorations. The hosts were kind and made sure everything was okay after we arrived.
The breakfast option could be improved with a small milk in the fridge for a cup of tea upon arrival.

Stunning views, comfortable beds, great location to explore nature, excellent value for money. The WiFi was good, which was a bonus. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the clean and well-maintained environment. The holiday let had everything we needed for our stay, including a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy living room area with a good-sized TV and DVD player. The outside area was also great, with a gated parking space and a spacious patio with comfortable seating.
There was a strong smell of dog in the cottage, which was unpleasant. we found a large quantity of cigarette ends in the plant pot by the outside table.

Stunning views and beautiful location near a reservoir and pubs within walking distance. Quirky and well-equipped accommodation that is perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. Good facilities including a kitchen with a coffee maker and a living room with a TV and DVD player. Homely atmosphere and friendly staff who were helpful in providing clear directions and showing us around upon arrival.
The property was cold upon arrival, despite the heaters being on, which caused condensation and made the tiled floor slippery. Lack of an extractor fan in the kitchen made it difficult to cook without having to open windows in wet and cold weather.

My stay at The Pencerrig Collection At Pencerrig Isaf was absolutely delightful. The stunning location overlooking the Welsh countryside was truly breathtaking. The cottage itself was warm, homely, and beautifully decorated. It had everything I could possibly need, from a well-equipped kitchen to thoughtful touches like bread, butter, cakes, and even toothbrushes. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. I enjoyed exploring the nearby reservoir and pub, both just a short walk away. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this holiday let.
The only minor drawbacks were a slight smell of dog in the cottage and a few cigarette ends in a plant pot outside. However, these did not detract from the overall beauty and enjoyment of my stay.

The accommodation was comfortable and well-furnished, with lovely views. The location was convenient, with easy access to the Brecon Mountain Steam Railway and interesting sights nearby. The walk down to the reservoir was just a few minutes from the front door, offering a beautiful natural setting. The local pub, The Red Cow, served delicious food at reasonable prices.
There were a couple of minor issues that could be improved. One of the radiators in the accommodation was broken, which made it a bit chilly.
